Quick answer

Glacier Bay is The Home Depot's store brand, and it has used several different single-handle tub/shower cartridges. The model number of your faucet is what matters. It's usually in the manual or on the box, and many start with HD873X or 873W.

Start with the model number

Danco 89932Glacier Bay, AquaSource and Pegasus single-handle tub/shower. Danco support says it fits Pegasus faucets that use the A507074 cartridge.3.95 in long × 1.42 in wide (Danco)

The heights differ a lot (about 3.1 in versus about 4 in), so measuring your old cartridge quickly rules candidates in or out. These are the makers' published product dimensions, not our own measurements.

What the sources don't settle

  • A shopper asked whether RP90154 replaces Danco 10321, and Glacier Bay's reply didn't answer. The numbers overlap: both makers name 873-0004 and 873-9004 models, and both list a 1.57 in width with a similar height. That suggests they're alternatives for at least some models, but neither maker says so.
  • Glacier Bay's Home Depot answers often send shoppers to Home Depot customer service (1-855-434-5224) for exact matches. That's worth a call if your model isn't on any list.

Parts the cartridge doesn't include

Danco says the 89932 doesn't include the handle screw (it suggests its #53 screw, 35654) or the nylon temperature stops. For the seats and springs behind that cartridge, Danco support names model 80684.

Questions people ask

I don't know my Glacier Bay model number. What now?

Check the manual, box or receipt first. Many tub/shower models start with HD873X or 873W. Glacier Bay's own answers send shoppers to Home Depot customer service (1-855-434-5224) for exact matches. Otherwise, shut off the water, pull the cartridge and measure it: RP90154 and Danco 10321 are about 3.1 in tall, and Danco 10670 and 89932 are about 4 in.

Is the Glacier Bay RP90154 the same as Danco 10321?

Neither maker says so. When a shopper asked, Glacier Bay's reply didn't answer. Both makers name 873-0004 and 873-9004 models, and both list a 1.57 in width with a similar height (3.05 in vs 3.10 in), which suggests they're alternatives for at least some models. Check your model against each list before you buy.

Can the RP90154 be flipped to fix reversed hot and cold?

Yes. On the RP90154 listing, a shopper asked whether the cartridge can be flipped to correct hot and cold lines that were piped backward, and Glacier Bay answered "The cartridge can be flipped." See the RP90154 page for the models it fits.
