Quick answer
RP46463 is Delta's dual-function pressure-balance cartridge for MultiChoice 17 series trims. You set volume and temperature separately.
Where to buy: genuine part from Delta.
Delta RP46463 on deltafaucet.comWhat it fits
- MultiChoice 17 series trims (trim numbers starting "T17", but not "T17T"). Delta's leak-parts page dates the series 2007 to present, and its reference sheet says 2006 to present.
- Thermostatic TempAssure "T17T" trims use RP47201 instead.
- The older Monitor 1700 series (1998 to 2005) uses RP32104.
How to recognize it
- Gray upper cap with a V notch and a shorter tab (the 1700's RP32104 has a white cap, a square notch and a longer tab).
- Delta says the cap was a lighter gray until 2016 and is darker now.
- It comes with an adapter and seal assembly, which Delta also sells separately as RP46073.
Labeling quirk
The RP46463 product page title says "MultiChoice Universal - 17 Series". The bullet list on the same page says "Use with MultiChoice 1300/1400 Series tub & showers produced after March 2006". Delta's other pages and staff answers consistently pair RP46463 with 17 series trim, so we treat the bullet as a typo. If your trim is a 13/14 series, you want RP46074.
