Quick answer
Litter Genie makes two kinds of refills, and they don't swap. Square refills (Standard and Jumbo) hold a long tube of film that you cut and tie into bags. Easy Roll refills are a roll of ready-made bags that tear off. Your pail takes one kind or the other.

Litter Genie says the Standard refill fits all of its square systems, and the Jumbo fits everything except the older XL pail and the Easy Roll system. If you have the older XL, check Litter Genie's chart before you buy.
Not sure which pail you have?
- You cut and tie the bag: it's a square-refill pail. The refill is a square cartridge that sits on a lip inside the pail.
- You tear off a bag: it's an Easy Roll or Platinum. The roll sits at the bottom of the pail, and the next bag is ready when you tear one off.
- Stainless steel: that's the Platinum, which uses Easy Roll refills.
How long each refill lasts

Before you order a multipack: make sure it's the right kind. A 6-pack of square refills won't help an Easy Roll pail, and a Jumbo won't fit the older XL.

It depends on the pail. Standard, Plus, Style, Design, Essential and XL+ pails take the square refills (Standard or Jumbo). Easy Roll and Platinum pails take the Easy Roll refill. Litter Genie says the Jumbo refill does not fit the older XL pail.
